Yes basic is 6 weeks but only for a little while longer. And no we dont get weekends off nor can we get online. At your boot camp do they motivate you and encourage you to do everything like they do with the army? Just curious, air force is total mind games it was fun lol. i am used to mind games so not that big of a deal. but just curious. now im stuck at a navy base that has nothing to do. i cant leave base yet for a while it sucks.

Go to a Marine base, or deal with Fleet Marines, all you questions will get, answered. LOL
Marine recrut traning is 13 weeks long, with 4 week long Marine combat traning befor going to your MOS school, Mine, Military police was 9 weeks long.
