when you say up to WI, where in WI?

Cascade up near the Dells is open til Midnight New Years Eve.

Nothing really like that happening at Tyrol Basin (Madison area) or Sunburst (north of Milwaukee).

have you ever been there?

My best friend just bought a house in west bend earlier this year, we always get together for new years so I'll in be in West bend from saturday night till new years day (most likely, not set in stone yet) and he mentioned there was a place liek 10 miles south of him but he knew nothing about it.

edit - North not south

Only ones in the area of there that I know off hand are, Christmas Mountain; private resort just outside of the Dells, and Cascade Mountain, about 20 mins or so from the Dells down by Portage.

Talk to Tyler (DriftedZ on WIGM-Tuners.org). His parents live on the hill.

I don't know the area well wnough to tell you what part of West Bend it is... Basically I jump on 94 north, take the bypass north and eventually end up on 45. from there is north of German town, I know hes not far from the Home depot and walmart (one exit south of his off of 45) and hes right off the highway. He lives liek a 5 minuet drive from where West Bend has the German Fest (we went to it )

But yeah plans have been confirmed... me, my girlfriend, and Vince are heading up Saturday night after I get out of work. Sunday we WILL be at Sunburst skiing. I'm gonna call them monday and get some more info since there site blows my ass. But i will post up here monday (actually I'll prolly make a new thread with definate plans) with the times were planing on going and I'll PM my # to anyone interested in meeting up so we can try to coordinate this together and what not.

Five minutes from where they have Germanfest? Yeah you pretty much described all of West Bend, it's not that big. The exit north of Walmart is Hwy 33. They have Germanfest right in down town West Bend. Anyways I'll probly go just depends what I'm up to that weekend. I'll probably wait till Monday to head to Madison though so I should be around.

Well I called them today to verify some stuff.

Its $35 to go all day from 10 am to 9pm with Ski rental being $25 for the whole day. They do have a cafeteria kinda thing with burgers and hot dogs and stuff, they also have a bar with Pizza and what not.

were shooting to be there and start at 10, if you don't want to go all day you can save $10 on tickets and go for the night session only (3pm to 9 pm)
