I cant remember his name on here but he drove an 00 Cavy z24 silver, drop, kit, rims...lives in EC...he came up and got my SC kit off my hands one day.




I really sucks living here in Duluth/Superior area...not really any other org members

I have seen a few silver z's dropped with rims, alot of rice ones tho. I would love to see a supercharged j with my own eyes tho.

Yeah I live in EC too. Sad day for me as well I just stored my cavi and have the winter beater till spring.

Chris - Yeah Justin sold his blower and overdrive pulley to me. I don't know if you remember but I PM'd you for info on the tune. Unfortunately its not going to go on till springtime.

yeah, the original motor had some bad detonation goin on after winter...damn bad gas...

and yes, I effed up that pulley trying to get it off the original motor...damn thing didnt want to come off in anyway...

and new motor sent rod #3 through the block...was just outside of La Crosse when that happened....

now plans are to build it...already lots of new parts...

Sounds like you let it run low on oil, or stoped using good oil.

I would send that things through the turns at Alanta Motor Speedway at 6200 RPM with the red light of death on..... Still kept running.
( and that was at 60K.... so dont say it was because of that.)

IMO, If I was building another one, I would go with a 2.3 and a MP62.... With the same Pulley set up.

yeah, I can assume its because of the poor quality oil...should continued with what you used...

I am going to build the 02 block with the 97 head (because thats what I already have)

going to P&P the head, HO cams, springs, and liters \ ]
better clutch

already have: 2.3 oil pump swap, H beams, HO intake mani, 56mm TB, and full turbo setup with T3/T4 Garrett

With a Quad-4\TwinCam, M1 is a must... and a stock 2.4 oil pump... 15W50 M-1 at that.

15W50? is that only with the 2.3L oil pump swap or for anyone. I have always used 5w30 m1

when I bought the car from him it was all stock internals on a LD9

Thats for anyone with a 2.4.

With the 2.3 oiling, Mobil-1... I like to use a 40 weaght though... IE 0W-40 is good.

I like to use corn liquer for my fuel and corn oil.

so yes I'm from the area...corn, corn,corn....beer, and cheese.

In fact I've got a mint set of 95-99 z24 rims with brand new tires mounted and balanced on the 16" rims. If anyone is interested let me know.

anyone who replied here that is close to E.C./ Rock Falls/ or menomonie have hptuners? I am gonna need a tune soon, got my wideband and parts coming
