Im looking for a J in the 2000-2002 range soon... Like 3-4 months and wanted to get a good headstart to find what im looking for. Honestly i want a z24 or LS Sport but im not going to be too picky. When the time comes im looking to spend at most 2500 which may not get me a lot but its what i have. So keep me in mind if anyone is selling one. Also the more stock the better and NO BODYKITS.

234,000 on the body, you can see it has a little rust, the motor is a 2000 LD9 that I lost track of the actual mileage because its moved car to car like when my green car was rear ended. It has the W41 cams and 2.3 HO springs with all the goodies you see on the outside bolted up. NVG trans with the Team Green LSD. Full wire tuck except i didnt move the battery because now im selling the car. I did some HP tuning on it and my last trip to MN and back netted 36mpg. It's an awesome car but im in college and ive got 3 cars, at least one has to be sold, one isnt running so it doesnt do me much good trying to sell that one, and the other is my 240sx project.

I like it. Are the pictures of it as it sits today? or is the profile of the car more accurate? Reason i ask is because depending on whats on the car when i would be ready to buy it would change how much i would offer for it. Plus you live a long ways away and i would like to drive it before if i decided to buy it. The rust is the only scary part of the car, well that and the fact certain very important parts of the trans are next to impossible to come by. Oh another question does it have the aluminum or stamped steel shifter cable bracket on the trans?

yea the first 2 pics were taken a few days ago and the rest today right before i even noticed this thread. the profile pics are old. the tein ss coilovers are not on it anymore, it has rk sport springs. I have an extra NVG trans up in Minnesota that has a slight grind in second that i would be willing to give to you, i do not know what bracket is on the spare trans but the one in the car has the aluminum bracket. The rust never discouraged me with these cars, they always rust in those exact spots and they make replacement pieces but that was never a concern for me. All i cared about with this car was getting some good power and gas mileage out of the 2.4 while keeping it reliable and me not ever having to worry about driving it anywhere especially when my dad lives in Minnesota, my mom near Chicago, and my school located at the southern tip of Illinois. My 240 is the car id say hell no to driving from MN to southern IL but the cav ill take anywhere.

no way on the teins, even if they were on that car thats a solid thousand cash i could get from selling them so id have to take them off. struts are stock but im talking to someone about trading for totally stock suspension, as the days go on the more and more i will part this thing out. right now being a cammed cavalier there isnt much market for this car, more stock = more buyers. the computer is a 97 and all the engine wiring is from the same 97, it was actually an auto pcm and harness. ill pm you right away bud.

make friends with someone that does body work and fix the rust lol. i know its not an ideal plan but at least if you fix it you wont have to worry about it. any other cav will eventually develop rust there anyway.

What are you looking to get for it?

i would sell you mine. 2002 base model with 98k? i think thats whats on it. i have a set of struts waiting to go on it once i feel like the old ones are done for, no mechanical work done besides the regular maintenance its green btw.

Chris - want the same supercharger that was on your blue 02? lol
