I've never been to one but my friend has and he said to act remorseful and keep quiet and take everything in that they tell you. Also explain that you need your car for a reason (whatever it is) and that you've learned your lesson etc. Pretty much if you keep to yourself and act sorry they may not take your licence away. Apparantly it's an interview/session with lots of other drivers who are in hot water like you.
