i drop my car off to have the engne exchanged, i got a new rebuilt block, and a new pnp lo head for my 2.3, they finnaly got it back together and they could not get the car from over heating, kept saying air is stuck in the system, and the kept running the car for like 2 days to get it out, i go by to take a test drive, take it out on the road no bottom end feel, i thought it was wired but ok, i go on the highway, the car does not seem to rev very high or hold the rev, the car over heats again, then i large very loud nocking sound, i finaly get it back to the shop and the guy is like, it might be the tensioner OR MAYBE THE BRAND NEW PNP HEAD FROM RSM RACING IS BAD my ass, but i told him to figure it out and call me, so let see what happens
I remember my mechanic laughing everytime someone brought in a Grand Am with a Quad 4... he said they made him rich..... Great performance, not so stellar reliability.
