I am selling my Quad 4 with tranny..
Brand new rebuilt... New timing chain and guides, New headgasekts and gaskets all around, milled head, pressure checked before it was put back together, new water pump, New Thermostat. Less then 500km since the rebuild.
Also comes with the tranny. With new flywheel and clutch also with less then 500km on both.. The tranny works just fine. Doesnt slip gears and never ride the clutch. Excellent working order.
I am selling this as a 2 piece unit. The motor does come with a lifetime warrenty replacement from Standard Autowreckers.. So anytime anything happens you can have them replace it if you choose.
I have had offers of $1200 to $1500.. I will also include the starter, power steering pump and alternator for $1500 firm..
I am looking to sell it ASAP.. It needs to be removed from the car. You can do it here... I will help out as much as I can.. I do have some tools here that you may use. Weekends would be best. If you want the whole shell (without the suspension parts, but you can have everything else exluding MAYBE the front windshield for again $1500 firm)..
Email prostar01@rogers.com if you have any question.
Thanks
I've noticed you are selling quite a bit of your personal items...why?
ALso, i thought u were selling the car complete? not anymore?

I got a couple questions...
If its a wrecker motor, how do you know it has all new parts? And when did Standard start offering lifetime warranties on their engines?
Lifetime?.....The longest warranty my wrecker tranny came with was 1 year. And that was $50. I *highly* doubt there is a lifetime warranty on a wrecker engine.
Ryan - I am really only selling the treadmill and the motor.. I would sell the car complete if I get offers.. But right now the best thing for me is to sell it by parting it out.. I was planning on selling my motor and then buying another Beretta and using all my parts to finish it up and get it painted.. I would be lossing out some, but not alot..
GTP and Brocklanders - I know it's got all these new parts in it. Cause I was the one who had all the new parts into it.. I decided not to get the motor replaced this time around and decided just to rebuild it.. Sorry I didn't clarify this parts. But yes I got it rebuilt so I know for sure this stuff is there..
Standard has lifetime warrentlys on engines.. They have like three plans Silver, Bronze and Gold.. Gold would be the lifetime.. I can prove it.. I have the receipt says lifetime warrenty replacement.. If anything goes bad motorwise they replace the motor (or that part) so if you just want the head replaced.. They will replace it.. Again it's right on the bill. It also cost me like $150 more ontop of the price of the motor..
Hi. what do you still have forsale. where are you from? I have a 96 cavalier and looking for a 2.4 Quad
^
This is not a 2.4 TC. It's the older 2.3 quad 4, and it's OBD 1. It is not compatible with your car as '96 was OBD 2.
Well I've NEVER heard of a lifetime warranty on a motor or components. Ah well you shut me up
LOL.. It's easy to shut someone up when you have a receipt that's has in writing lol.. I wouldnt' have said it if I didn't have a receipt.. Cause the warrenty replacement is no good unless you have the receipt (well not really but its better to have it).. Ya it sounds weird that you can get a lifetime warrenty.. but trust me def tru.. Cause I have already has 4 (yes 4) engines replaced.. Hence why this time around I rebuilted it
BTW Kyle.. Would you want meet up sometime?? Do you go to the Cobalt meets at all?? I you wanna meet up let me know.. I got myself and my buddy around the area with Cobalts.. BTW.. It's Jonathan if you didn't know.. (Canadian Tire)
Dyle - This is a 2.3 Quad... It will work with your car but you have to do a computer swap and such.. It's worth it if you have a blown 2.4... If you need parts then no nothing will work I don't think.. But Phewes was going to do the swap but he backed out of the motor last min.. So I need a buyer since I am buying another Beretta do to up.. Let me know if your still interested
You not going to take the motor now man?
