For every 1 person saying something GOOD about Soundspeed, there are 10 saying something BAD.

Not a good ratio.

Custom FX in Orangeville "supposedly" does good work. David Hodge (Shop Owner) Has had his civic featured in a few music videos and such. It is also at ImportFest every year, darknights.. etc.

www.customfx.ca .... NO updated pics of his hatch though....

Bodykit is okay a little thin in some spots an easy fix. Fitting, some might be off a little, easy fix to . What do you expect from a mold it 's not going to be flaless, it will need some work. For $500 you can get the look you want.

I've never had any problems with them, Most of the people that complain are the ones that take a kit home and don't know how to install it. I've bought so many kits from them, NEVER had a fitment problem. I think I'm using the 7th rear bumper from them (not replaced due to quality, mroe because of style and my bad luck ) I've seen people on here buy a kit there, go home and paint it themselves without even doing any work to the bumper, go figure, if you're gonna be cheap, shut up and stop whining.

As for their body work, I don't know what you're talking about above, I've seen their cars, EXCELLENT quality on finish, and paint.

mine turned out good from them, paint colour was right on, only problem i had was the screws holding on the sides shifted and broke off to the side, because they were too close to the edge.... other then that not too bad, took the whole weekend tho so make sure you have a second ride.......

I bought my body kit there. Fitment was excellent. in fact, bang on. Service was excellent, shipping was fast, Price was even better.

Fiberglass kits require some adding, trimming, and sanding to get them to fit right. Thats a no brainer...

you can see the glue on the side skirts and at the back.. its sloppy work and then the rivet holes that weren't covered...

That doesnt look like a soundspeed install.
I've never seen them use a rivet there.

the actual body kits arent that bad from sound speed, but i wouldnt have them install anything.

ive heard too many horror stories, like some above. and about them being dicks, i know a guy that was sponserd by them. great at first, but they treat you worse than they treat dirt from what he was saying.

They glues that kit on and had the screws to hold it in place, then they removed the screws. So what your problem, it's not even paint,,when you take it to a body shop they will clean off the glue and fix any inperfection before painting. Duh..some people just don't know how it works. If it was painted looking like that, by them, then ya that sucks.

Thank you. Well said, pay them to paint it or get someone to do the body work, they won't do it for free, sick of hearing everyone not spend the money and still whine like a bunch of babies.

Either way, from theyre install job, i wouldn't go anywhere near there for paint.. it'd probably fall off going down the highway.

and their customer service is dick, whoever drives that mustang is a douche.

the skirts you'll have to break off, before it becomes unglued. If you had screws left in there or rivets they will sooner or later start showing through the filler. Some people don't under stand beacause they like to ride on the short bus. AS for the paint it looked good on one of their cars I saw last year at performance world. Good luck on what ever you decide.
