Well, if your intrested, I can get you a used Panasonic deck for 75 $, or a new Blaupunkt for 100 $ with a 2 year warrenty. I have a stock HU myself, but it is a 2000, so it will not properly function with your friends car.

check the local scrapper. you can usually find one for about 20
