In 2004, Limestone City Sound off was featured at St Lawrence College. The show was a great success other than a food issue which was out of our hands. There was a great turnout of competitors and spectators. The show had trophies, games, prizes and giveaways.
On August 20, 2006, Limestone City Sound Off will be back bigger, better and louder. This year... no food issue... Limestone City Sound off 2 brought to you by AMP (After Market Productions) will be located at Kingston Family Fun World. FFW features a 3 screen drive in, amusement rides, go-carts, batting cages, mini putt and lets not forget a full canteen / Snack bar.
Special thanks to FFW for giving us a chance to offer our competitors and guests 25% off food and activities and free grounds admission during our event. This allows everyone to bring friends and family with enjoyment for everyone.
One of our main visuals will be XM Satelite Radio. Satelite Radio is the hottest new car/home and portable audio add on since its release to Canada in November 2005. If you have any questions at all, this would be a great opportunity to learn more. XM will be featuring PGA for the miniputt area, MLB for the batting cages and the XM Lounge, for everyone to enjoy.
The SPL competition is built for the Kingston People. The classes are fair and when out of towners do attend, they will be able to compete in all classes except for Kingston's Loudest Class. Thats right... Do you think that you are the loudest in Kingston? This event will determine just who is. Get your systems pumped... we are going to shake this city.
AMP who recently relocated to Kingston from the GTA is presently looking for a Car Show producer/promoter. If you or someone that you know is interested or have any further questions, please pm us. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with an event that will be back again each year and the chance to be a part of other events.
