hey. basically im just asking for anyone thats an expert in j-bodys if they can diagnose wth happned to my car.

my car sat for about 2 weeks in my driveway. i started it up yesterday and the rpm's went instantly to the redline. so i turned my car off and didnt have time to look at it. went to work with my van. so today i went to start it back up and it will turn over. now in the newbs furom the post is alittle old so i have done alil troublshooting as removing my nitrous plate making sure the throttle body was functioning properly. but as far as internal issues or sensors i have no clue what could be causing it. I have got it to run twice if you can call it running. itll turn over start up normally them simply idle horribly. the rpms will go up and down between 1 and 2.5 and then within 20 secounds itll stall. it is completly nonresponsive to to throttle position/how much gas i give it. please let me know what could cause this.?

good luck, VVT engine will require a whole new pcm, and on top of that wiring for the vvt....

good luck, you'll need it

for a rebuild of the bottom end your looking at 1500 if you do the assembly yourself..

no way in hell you'll do a VVT for that... if you can even find a gm VVT used right now...
