Possible Winter Car Pictures. Also Need A Licenced Mech In Shop

Well....

I need to store my Cobalt SS for the winter for several reasons.. Too quick to drive stock (let alone my with my stage 2 kit), the car is too low and I wanna part it out so I can get someone to take over the lease when it's in stock forum (also its for sale like with the mods right now if anyone wants).. So I have been lookin for a truck for winter, something with a purpose for both winter and summer... So I went looking for lifted truck so I can off-road in the summer and drive it in the winter .. So I came a across a unusally yet unquie 4x4 that has been highly modded...

.... I found a 1987 Jeep Wagoneer (yet a SUV/Stationwagon)... Lifted with some 40" mud boggers, 9" lift (6 suspension and 3 body), from the bottom of the doors to the ground is a height of 38" (approx)... Full body restore and repaint etc... Camero LT1 350 and lots of other goodies...

I am gonna need a mechanic who works/owns a shop that can certify this thing and also do the emssions test on it (I think it may need a test not sure causes it a 87 so its part of the new rules in emissions)... So if you know anyone that could do it let me know, that way I can maybe go make my purchase soon.. Also if anyone has a car trailer that I can use, I need to pick up the truck from Sudbury if I end up buying it.. Any help would be great... I will pay...

Well here is the pictures

Enjoy!!

that'll be horable in the snow you'd be better off driving a corvette lol, you do realize that those tires are designed to float so if you have any snow you will float on top and most likely loose control hense why the avg snow tire is narrow

Well.. I have changed my mind on the truck I am going to get for winter.. Orginally I was looking at a really high lifted truck for winter.. A 1987 Jeep Grand WagoneerSee This Tread For High truck . So he wouldn't safety it, and I am kind of sketchy as to why he doesn't wanna certify it at all.. And I dont have anything to tow it back home (4 hrs away)...

So I have beeing looking around alot.. And I found a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee fully loaded.. Lifted I think like 4" with a Rancho Kit.. It's got 2 sets of tires.. 1 set of normal tires another set of off-road tires (I can't rememeber what size they were). The steering is a little loose but will be fixed for safety. Excellent condition on it.. Lower km on it (170,000km.. 105,600miles).. Keyless entry.. Leather Seats.. Display screen.. mint underbody... compass upper center console... hitch and foglights.. Power leather seats.. MP3 aftermarket deck.. They only want $5900cdn/$5200amr.. So overall its a good one for me.. Just checking on my insurance to cover both my 05 Cobalt SS and this... If its good to go.. Then I Am taking it..

If I still wanted this Wagoneer...

I can get a 10 day permit can't I.. So that I can drive the thing from Sudbury.. Rather then having to tow it.. Cause I mean I would rather have the Wagoneer cause of obvious reasons... It's like 38" high from the ground and cause it's in good condition... Plus I have someone who will cert it for me.. And etest.. I believe it doesn't need it...

As for it being in too good of condition to off-road it... I am not totally 100% sure that I am worried about it.. He hasn't winter driven in a while he says.. But like I mean it's a little high so he road salt might not be as bad.... I can also hose her down to clean it during the winter months.. And as for off-roading and it being in good condition.. That's not a concern as I see lots of new trucks off-roading... It's just that the ones in @!#$ty condition are usally the ones that are put through hell.. I would considering my off-roading as mild.. So I wouldnt really be doing anything to crazy... I can have it on the road for about $8000... Which is still $2000 more then the Jeep...
