Garry frank....I have no idea on shipping. whenever you go to calculate shipping they are always way off. if i were to guess it would probably be around the $50 - $80 rang.
Short Hand....Which motor? 2.3? if so i had someone want to buy the motor yesterday but never came back with a truck. PM me a price. I'll see if it's worth my while to tear the engine apart. I also have a spare 086 head here. I started to clean it up but never finished. where are you located?
Blown Black Z.....pistons and rods are used. I guess i have to tell the story about them. A few years back i bought the motor completly build off a fello jbody org memeber here who didn't know @!#$! they said it was a 2.3HO and it was clearly a 2.4. I got drunk one day and decided to take the motor apart. So there's me working away in my sandles and shorts drinking beer. well when i took off the head low and behold!!! the @!#$ detonated the motor! yep one cylinder was scored and the top of the piston had nicks in it. the next piston was not as bad. only 2 or 3 small nicks. rods were fine. i worked at a hydraulic shop and asked our machinests about this. they said you'd be able to face the piston's down a bit and it would mess with your compresson a bit. anywho that's the story. still interested?
Patrick Jankie.....yeah i still have the poppers and M3 mirrors. i'm supprised i still have the poppers. i have like 4 people that want them but no one with cash. I paid close to $400 for these.
The 2.3 motor bjaman, and I would like the cam,s, cam towers, lifters, and PS bracket. AS long as the lifters arent scarred up or anything, thats menas if you do decide to ship them, it would be nice if you could pour some oil over them while they are still in the lower portion of the cams towers, shrink rap it up tightly and ship it
(try not to remove them lol).
Im thinking what ever shipping is + 75 $ sound alright ?
