Its time to do the brakes on my cavi. Any suggest somewhere to buy brake pads, rotors, drums either oem or slightly better in the toronto area. As well any suggestions on what types to pick up would be appreciated,

Noyz Boyz gave me a decent price on a coated and slotted set of rotors and pads. "No Name brand"

I'm not really sure who else is selling for reasonable prices these days. Anywhere can get you the cheap stuff. I have gone to napa for a few simple things. At jobber, they were beating the best price I could find anywhere. Better even than my normal discounts. I do assume that they are cheap parts and count on them accordingly. I think Keystone is listing Powerslots for the J, so any performance store can likely get them in a day or two.

For J body brakes I always went for the cheap, because no matter what quality, I went through them like water. A little high temp paint on some of the new parts and they will look decent enough even behind open wheels.

If it's a DD, get the cheap rotors and drums, and the long-life pads. Do *not* touch the cheapest ones. Absolute junk, my friend is by no means agressive on his Cav', and his 'cheap' pads are shot after only six months (and he does mostly highway mileage!)

I refuse to shop at Crappy Tire. The very last time I did, I was cased all over the store by the store security. The one time I was ever asked if I needed something and they thought I was stealing. They were actually peaking around corners. I'm fed up of the Fort Knox attitude around there. They should quit buying the casino grade camera systems and put some staff on the floor. Sorry. End of rant.

One step up on the pads is a good choice.

Umm. Canadian TIre doesn't have floor walkers...

Just go to another one, my preferred location in Toronto is the one on Lakeshore Blvd.

I bought a set of Brembo rotors, you can get them from any store that has access to Keystone. Just an example of a place but ive heard they are expensive would be Performance Improvements.

Also bought a set of EBC Green Stuff pads.

I think the entire setup was around 280 bucks

In Cedarbrae, they have someone in plain clothes.

280 for Brembos and pads is very good.
