What's up everyone....
As most of you already know I had this car turbo'd for close to 100,000km before the motor blew. I have since replaced the engine and returned the car back to stock.
For the record, this car has been babied since it rolled out of the factory. Every repair that has ever been done has been documented (reciepts available).
This car has never seen a peel out even with the turbo on. Whoever buys my car is buying into reliability--thats a guarantee!
Here's the ad I have posted on Kijiji:
This car is extremely fun to drive and is really good on gas. I get approx. 580 km to the tank (45 litres). The car is in amazing shape and has been polished every year--NO RUST!
Being the first owner I take pride and every vehicle I own.....oil change has been completed every 5000km religiously--receipts available to prove it. All repairs completed through the dealer.
There are no problems with this car, come and see for yourself. I really don't want to let this car go given the history but I need a four door car now. I spent $21,569.32 on this car
from the dealer and still have the receipt...willing to let it go for fair price.

GUYS...hes the first owner, can you imagine how much he babied it!
Wow people must have really lost faith in American cars.....such a shame, this car is really worth the money.
Let try something else....
$3700 to a good home.

Yup.
And even at $3700 ... which is an alright price ... it may be a hard sell.
And you would think with gas prices being so high lately that 4 cylinders would be in demand. I think the whole "don't buy an American car" stigma is really hitting home here. A word of advice to the wise,
never buy a new American car-not because of quality, this car never gave me a problem, but because you will end up sacrificing fair resale value.
Let me throw in another idea....I am condersiding trading with a bike + cash (condition, style, year, milege, and size dependant)
When you consider the deals GM cars can be had in the new dealer, actual resale prices are decent. Comparing to MRSP doesn't paint the same picture, but if you paid MSRP for a GM car, you did it to yourself.
Any car over 100,000 starts dropping value in a big way. Typical wholesale practices justify a 1000 dollars off the vehicle for every 10,000km.
So, you can say that a typical Honda of comparable nature is worth more money as a used vehicle, but the car cost that much more in the first place. You are simply holding equity in a depreciating product.
still got the old turbo ?
Nope, turbo was sold a while back when the car was being returned to stock. I probably wouldn't want to sell the car had the turbo/engine not failed....it was such a fun car to drive.
Do you guys not know that he was the first owner? I was with him when he got the car, this car was taken care of! We paid 23 632 wit taxes and everything from the dealer in 03! You shouldnt hesistate if your interested to at least see it!
