Hey first day here, i fried my bcm on my pontiac sunfire gt, 2000, its a 2.4L so if anyone has a spare BCM on hand that wants to sell i am willing to buy it right now asap i need it soon. The car had 250K on it the closer the better but it doesnt matter i just need it so i can get my car running thanks. My cell is 905 321 4964 or reply on here, i live in niagara falls.

the BCM??? thats THe Body Control Module controls your power windows, speedometer and guage cluster?? are you sure you did not mean ECM the one that controls the engine............... if not i have a BCM for power windows, locks blah blah kickin in my trunk

i HAVE A SPARE ECM. not a BCM for a 2k to 2k2 2.4.

Controls more than just that. It's tied into the serial data bus, which links many different modules like ABS and SIR. The fact he knew the mileage is stored in the BCM tells me he just might know what he's talking about. To the OP, when you program the replacement BCM to the car with a Tech2, you can enter the mileage at that point.

the BCM i have has 71,000kms read on to it..........and its a NON ABS BCM
