Just like the title states, im going to buy struts and lowering springs and im looking for a good shop to deal with. If ebay is the cheapest I will just buy from them. I only wish i had the money for this when our dollar was a bit more on the level. I will also be replacing strut bearings and mounts. Is their aftermarket mounts and rubbers or can you only buy stock replacenment?
maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong...but even tho the pro kit doesn't lower the car much, KYB AGX ARE NOT meant for any type of lowering spring. I would suggest a better strut, one that can handle springs that aren't stock. AGX struts are OEM replacement struts, not real performance struts I do believe. Wild Weasel, is the best for this knowledge IMO.
^ AGX are NOT stock replacement and are adjustable GR2 are the supposed stock replacement despite them being valve higher than stock. AGX will be perfect with pro-kit, I run AGX and sportlines perfectly fine.
e-bay will have the best price on them.
Ebay has the most amazing price for pro kit its around 500 shipped.........i will be investing in a set before winter is over so i can lower my yellow z properly

500 for springs..wow i must have gotten a good deal, actually there only about 200+ shipping, and the AGX's are around 425 + 55 for shipping, usually on ebay "JDMwerks13" has the best price and it takes about 2 weeks shipping to canada. remember those are all american dollar prices....and exchange is a bitch!

Thank you for correcting me...
looks like i will be ordering off of ebay once i have enough cash. Glad i asked before i bought from a shop!
i figured ebay would give the best price now im even more confident that they will the best choice. This may be a stupid question but i have never bought car parts off of ebay.
what kind of taxes will i have to pay? canadian 13% or american? or how much is duty. buying off ebay is new to me.
ps all of canada isn't 13% you must live in ontario, alberta is only 5% tax...but anyways it depeds on which shipping company the person off ebay deals with, i know ups you have to pay brokerage fees once it crosses the border, but then if they ship it USPS (united states postal service) when it comes into canada it goes to Canada post and there's no duty on that...only downfall is you sometimes wait longer for the item as apposed to ups...aka uscamus lol

I have ordered tons and tons of things from the US off Ebay
Doesnt matter if its UPS or USPS which goes to Canada Post you will get caught with Duty and Taxes
Sometimes things slip through but not to often, especially bigger items that are new.
find someone in the US to ship it to there house then get them to ship it to you as a gift
SHO OFF had some gaskets i needed and he shipped them as a gift and no duty or broker fees

does it matter if your a canadian resident? or is it as simple as going there and opening a P.O. box?

I do it at the UPS store and you don't need a box. You just call them and tell them a package will be showing up for you and they call you when it comes. Then go pick it up and pay your 5 bucks.

there is no duty on anything from the US anymore so remove that from your vocabulary
the only thing you have to pay when it comes through Canada post is a 5 dollar handling charge and tax, if your one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to pay taxes then you wont pay the handling fee
if it is coming all the way into canada usps is the way to go, if you are getting a box in the us it does not matter, but if you are crossing the border trying not to get caught good luck cause if you are busted you will never be able to cross the border again without getting stopped and searched
