I'm looking at getting a new bumper, and was wondering what everyone thinks of it.
This is a chop I did, it's out of proportion, a bit too big.
and this is the original pic., it's skilz10179
let me know what you think.
Does anyone know what duties and customs fees I would be looking at?
I'm pretty sure the bumper is made in the U.S. so would I just be paying taxes?

o so you want to get the TRD front. i have that on my car and it is sexy. go to www.gravanatuning.com they should have it there
Definately a nice looking bumper and it will compliment your car very well.
minus the intercooler of course unless you have boost plans
Now the @!#$ty part is that over the border there will be fees.
Im not really sure what they will charge but ups, not matter how big the package will charge a duty.
If you can find one in canada it will benefit you, unless you make a trip down to the states to pick it up.
Like i said ive never shipped anything bigger than headlights out of the states and therefore am not completely sure the tax.
Otherwise it will look great on your car!

(Yeah I thought I posted this a couple days ago but guess not lol)
boost plans are iffy right now, we'll see what happens in the future. The bumper in that picture is the one I'm actually getting, it's skillz bumper from michigan, he's on this forum. Comes with the carbon fiber canards which I might take off when I get it painted, and the turn signal lenses. Picking it up thursday, I think the only fees I'll be dealing with is taxes because the bumper is made in the U.S.

Thats awesome man,
I cant wait to see some update pics of the bumper on your car!
Obviously it wont be until spring haha but still looking forward to it.
Before you throw out the canards im sure some honda tuners would buy them so throw them on kijiji and call it a day
Andrew
Yeah i'm def going to sell them, they're on the ARP wesbite for $185. and I'm pretty sure skillz said they're ARP. Yeah the bumpers just going to chill in my room till I can get it on lol.

doin the paint and body work yourself?
or do you have someone who does that for you?
Andrew
Whats with Canadians buying Jeremy's bumpers? I bought his IF front a few years ago. lol

I'll most likely be doing the prep work myself but I don't have a place to paint it, and not that great at it. Do you know someone who can paint it for me?
The guy obviously has good taste lol.
That IF bumper (assuming it's the one in your sig) would have been my second choice. Not over the top but way better than stock. I find both bumpers to be fairly similar.

Lol i know a guy who has a gun, but experience wise hes not good.
Id probably say try it yourself or pay...
Personally i like to do things myself because in the end im more satisfied that way...
Andrew
I like to as much work as I possibly can myself to my own car, so far about 90% of everything on my car is done by me, The only things I don't do are things that require a garage/shop which I lack so I can't do. And I don't have the tools, place, or experience to paint a bumper, so I'm not going to try. I'll paint my mirrors, door handles, and other small things. but nothing bigger unless i'm feeling brave.
