Hey was it someone on here with a blue 4 door cavfire at sparta tonight???? It had ss hood, projectors it looked like, rims and tint..........I was racing my Grand prix GTP, the 4 door red one with 2 black rims on the back and 2 gold on the front....

and you had a headlight pulled out? I remember the gold rims on the front, and yeah that was me out there.
It was my first time at the track and my first run was my best with a 15.2579 at 89.97, I couldn't seem to improve that with 7 more runs.

Thats a pretty good time for a stock ecotec with heavy rims
I wieghed these rim with the tires mounted and they are about 1-2 lbs heavier each then the stock 15s with tires. They hook up pretty damn good though.

it was nice seeing you at the track, I used to bring my 97 z24 there it was an auto and ran a 16.2 at best with a 2.4 in it

I was angry couldnt hit more then 14.5 .....traction was @!#$ and my tires were bald so next time im expecting at least 14.0 which my mods are capable of.
that'd be nice eh. I'm hoping to break into 14.9 but not sure if my car is quite there yet.

its all about traction.......if you can grab and go you'll get a good time, thats the hard part being supercharged.......spin spin spin
my traction seemed to be pretty good, just getting some nasty wheel hop sometimes. I think I'd rather be supercharged and spin, alot more fun lol.

So is hitting the speed limiter before the end of the track and having to coast the rest of the way

yes Dave it ran a 16.2, when I did, I dont own it anymore, I have a Grand Prix GTP now, capable of high 13's but traction isnt allowing me to get past 14.5 for now
anyone going next week i might go if i solve this supercharger noise
