i have a 97 z24 and am wanting to know how to hook up a air/fuel ratio guage and need to know what wire it is i connect to. thx
purple wire i believe but don't expect it to be accurate.
97 you have no choice the o2 only has 1 wire and its purple unless you had a late model 97 i think they got a 4 wire i know 98s do and 97 was a transition year for that

My 98 only had one purple wire, but I switched to a 4 wire.
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
I'd just throw it out or sell it to some other sucker who doesn't yet realize how useless it actually is.
