even though everything after 2002.5 had an ecotec, they still called sedans with the Z bumpers z24s. although i think you could get a z-type that didn't have the 16inch wheels and instead came with 15 inch wheels.
and to the seller, your asking less on the mustang forums. Why not ask for the same here?

I thought the only true "z24" 4 door (not a mock up) was 2002... Not including "z type" just Z24.

It is a Z24 sedan , and I am pretty sure it is a 2004 , (it is only an appearance /trim package I believe) anyways it is at a body shop I am helping out at and the owner of the shop/car wants wants $2300 for them both OBO , when I put them on the other forum for 2000 he was kinda pissed . Like I said the car only has around 10000 kms , was rolled by a drunk driver and never reported and car is actually not even branded , mostly passenger side / roof / glass damage . 905-720-1686 or shop 905-725-5679

No apparently you didn't read it right , an 04 Z24 sedan with 10000 kms that was rolled but is not branded , and a 2000 Cavilier coupe that needs a motor to go along with it , I'm sure some of you Cavilier folks spend way more money on plastic skirts etc than 2300 (obo) for 2 cars one with a virtually brand new 04 10000 km drive train .

The motor is fine , I believe the car rolled back on to its wheels , It was bought with the intention of repairing but it just hasn't happened.

Correct , the rolled car has everything on it but was rolled , so headlights , rad , A/C , interior although it has gotten wet ( covered but still got wet ) . The whole car is there NOTHING has been taken off .

Regardless 2.2eco's don't directly swap into where a 2.2 ohv was....and brand or not the car is still a wet, rolled cavalier with an untested, sitting for years motor. I think this is a case of thinking you have more that you do. I wouldn't pay $2300 for a base model cav coupe with a new-ish eco.

It wasn't intended as an insult it is a fact plain and simple , the car has been started periodically and is spotless under the hood , I'm sure the swap has been done before , I am not thinking I have more than I do ........ they are after all just caviliers who's prominence came after the fast and the furious or else they would still just be grocery getters ( the same with Honda's etc) . A used 04 motor with 150000 kms goes for 700-800 at the scrap yard and that is JUST A MOTOR so I think the price is fair for both cars . Not sure of the details on the other Cavilier all I know is it needs a motor (has a 2.4 in it I believe) other than that it looked OK , bothe cars are silver

You'll need the details on the 2000 cav to get any idea if the price is fair or not. A car which is basically the lynch pin of the deal could have 80k or 300k kms. A nice motor and a stinker 10 year old car don't make a great deal. A mint 2000 Z24 fully loaded with low kms needing just a motor is a bit more enticing....see my point?
Also pic's are a great help to speak for themselves...Sorry to nit pic the sale thread, but J's just aren't worth much of anything, and usually omission of details is a bad sign. Be prepared to not get what you think this is worth....

If you can get a 10000 km motor ( verified kms) with a 10000 km transmission , that can be seen running for 400 bucks I'd like to know the yard selling it as I was on car-parts.com doing a search and found nothing close . Define low kms as you see it . Cavilier / Sunfire no big difference .

i can buy complete wreaks just like that for 600-1000 dollars.......... i have bought 3 in the past 6 month 2000+ sunfires with MINT bodys for $100-500 dollars
so this = $700-1500 MAX for both cars..........
Gary has a 2000 Sunfire GT with a ecotec that i built the driveline had 77000kms...........i had 900 invested in the entire car saftey etested and in my name........

Right there you stated the mileage... both myself and Gary pointed out that we are getting engines with trannys for half the price with LESS then 60-70k
I am also sure if Greg chimes in he will say these types of cars are going on the auction block for $500 for the whole car

yeah at wreaked car auctions no one bids on cavalier/sunfires so they go for the minimum bid which is between 200-500 dollars
Yeh then they spend 1000's stuping them up with gay spoilers , rims and fart can mufllers , etc and still have a pos . The car did not come from an auction , it was a body shop to be fixed but never was . Like I said accident that was never reported and the car is actually not branded but it is a whole car that runs with 10000kms . You Can go get your $ 100-500 car that some boy racer has beaten the @!#$ out of and rebuild the motor or whatever if that's your preference .
