hey guys i have a 97 2.4L egr motor and found a high output intake manifold intake at the wreckers. will it bolt up to my motor it came from a olds achiva. also that motor did not have egr what would i need to do to swap the intake manifold over and where would u get a egr block off plate?

pretty sure it wont bolt up to your motor without modification, pretty sure the ports are a bit off, that should be a 2.3 not a 2.4
u can make a block off plate out of sheet metal and some gasket material.

ya ive done some digging into this swap and it clearly isnt worth doing it on all motor. if anyone lives in the cambridge area theres a ho intake manifold there with tb i took off at cambridge autowreckers i hid it so i could go back for it.. ill just stick with my stock intake manifold and find a big bore tb to increase my volume. will the stock ho tb fit on a stock 2.4L intake??
