Ok basically the last post got a little off track so I think we should start a new one
Suggestions so far
- some would like a big show inviting other GM vehicles to come
- some would like a smaller J only show
- they said we could have it at the Race Rock again
- maybe we could get together for dinner afterwards (either bbq or go some place as a group)
- some want to float and others want it in Orlando
I hope I did not miss anything (I know there were things like having companies like GM sponsor the show)
so make suggestions tell us what you would like the J show to be -- maybe we could show this posts to companies to let them know there is interest
i think we should do a floating show in the fall/ winter and maybe some less drama. but hey like i said before i am up for anything.

Ok my suggestions are as follows:
One have it in a voted on location every year (like it always has been done).
Still have a car show, but not concentrated on just the show, concentrate on being a group, staying at the same hotel, doing things together.
As for other cars involved be it GM cars, or domestics, I thinkn for now stay J's maybe another year or so look at opening up to Cobalts.

- I like the big show in Orlando. Race Rock will have us back, Steve is willing to Plan, and it's Central location. If some people can't make it to Orlando, I can imagine the turnout at Miami...or Tallahassee
- Staying in one spot allows the show to be known and expand. Hopefully we will get more sponsors for door prizes, etc
- As John mention, we need a host hotel.
- Something fun after the show. BBQ and party back at the hotel
- and again as John said. J's only for a while. Then look into other domestics.
- Floating show in the fall/winter. Vote on location. That city plans the festivities.
I really think having a host hotel and doing something together after the big show will top the cake.

OK guys I think that it is a good Idea to have other GM small cars to the show, but I think we should have it in a different location. Maybe a park @ a lake or something. Where everyone can BBQ or grill out, play B-ball, football, or swim. Instead of standing around a hot parking lot without much shade. What do you think?

As far as location agree. The one in Fort Lauderdale was great because it was a park, shade, cars always look great sitting in the grass.

In south Florida, Markham Park is very nice. Lots of space, nice atmosphere. In the Orlando area, Blanchard Park is also very nice provided you book a pavilion at least a month or two in advance.
Just brainstorming here.
