John, I will definately hit you up when I paint the 2nd car. I'll be working right behind Busch Gardens off of 30th street so maybe we can get some lunch sometimes.

I live in the Remington Apartments, which is on 30th right next to Busch Gardens and the police station....kinda ghetto, but the apartments are decent despite the buildings being 30 years old, rent is cheap (i'm a student), and there aren't really any crime problems or anything like that to speak of. I do believe I'm right across from where you will be working.

I've lived in worse, last year I lived in Ybor....well 25th Ave. which is off of Nebraska and about 2 min. away from Centro. Bleh. Next year my girlfriend and I will probably be looking into something in Tampa Palms, but the traffic on Bruce B. Downs heading to and from the campus area can be annoying during rush hours.

See traffic on Bruce B Downs is the big downside if I go with living in Tampa Palms. I'll have that wonderful 8-5 type job, so I know traffic is going to be hell. I may see if I can be there 7-4 instead.

I'm pretty sure you are going to be living right across from my work (next time you are driving to school, look for the Time Magazine Service Center at University Center... I'll be in there somewhere starting October 3rd). I'll probably be driving around a red cavalier, shaved handles with rims and appears to be a 2002 LS model. This will only be for a while hopefully though, as I'm looking to possibly pick up a Scion TC or a Tiburon once I get my bills figured out.

I was wondering, does anyone had any comments on Temple Terrace, or anywhere else in that area east of Busch Gardens?

temple terrace is nice! real close to USF. it has every thing you would need not 2 many apt there . i think new tampa would be the best bang for the buck. it is up and coming. its just now starting to get big. but with gas prices i would try to get an apt as close to your work as u can! just my thoughts

damn where did all of you people come from --- I live in new tampa now off of Bruce b downs - it is a nice area -- lutz is nice too --- I like driving around the lutz area better I lived there for 9 years and then moved to land o lakes and now I am in new tampa --- all of you guys should come out to one of our meets -- i work with John now and I go to USF hope to see some of you guys around
