Well guys DJ came down here to Tampa and we were at the bridge we both agreed to a 40 roll.
Top of the second gear he pulls me like a 1/2 car.
We both go to 3rd, well I got and then he goes at 7000 RPM lol, he puts another car on me and then we shift to 4th and he puts another 1/2 and we kinda level off by 120mph.
His car started breaking up he wnt up to about 1.12 Bar which is about 16.5-17 psi.
So he beat me by about 2 cars from a 40-120, and that translates my 108-109 mph traps to his 111-112mph.
From a dig at the track it would be a whole different story tho. lol

The bridge was clear, about 7 miles long and noone on it.
DJ's girl was NOT in the car with him and neither was mine so if anything was to happen WE would have suffer the concequences there is no reason to drag someone else in it.

if the bridge hes talkin about is gandy then 120 is nothing...some of the guys running big muscle (modded vettes, vipers, f-bods, etc) and crotch rockets top 150 or more no prob on that bridge...its a long one, plenty of room to run if ya want to.

Yeah for real, if it was Gandy then there really is adsolutely no way they could jeopordize anyone's safety but their own. Its a 2 lane one way bridge each direction.

i went to the track tonight got a best of 13.4 @ 110
couldnt hook for @!#$, i dropped my psi to 24 on the street tires.. .and i @!#$ spun 1st-3rd i ran a 14.00 @ 114... man i have never spinned 3rd all the way through then again i spiked 1.20... so for now you are still faster on the track but.. i currently own the streets
Nice run again, i had fun thursday night, ill see if i head up there again sometime... defenetaly cool peeps.... and yea as mentioned, the bridge was clear... noone on that its the perfect racing place.. one way to top it off so you cant even jump onto on coming traffic you just end up in the water.
Man would be nice to see someone get a 12 flat on a stock 2.2 that would be awesome. Hopefully its you... i wont be staying stock internaled for long.

Are you both running stock ECO bottom ends? I still think you have impressive numbers, even if you did get waxed, lol. 12's is a good place to be coming from a high 15's car. I can't wait to see how far you can safely push the eco. Gives me ideas.

Rob...during the R&D for GM's drag eco motor all 4 connecting rods failed at 283hp, at something like 4000 rpm. so an eco tuned to produce say 275hp at 6000 rpm will probably live a decent amount of time. as far as how many psi of boost...i dunno...GM was using nitrous and i havent heard anyone mention a max safe boost limit.

Yea, Gm blew their motors at 283 to the motor cause they had a motor dyno.
I am at 270 to the wheel, and DJ about 290 or so, which puts me at about 310 to the crank and DJ at 335 which is waaaaaaaaay past 283. lol
Let night I hooked it on the logger and full boost it was at 18 degree advance and 1 degree of knock.
1 god damn degree, damn this motor is GOOD!! It reality 1 deggre is NOTHING, GM allows to 4 degrees of error so there it is.
