Hey, I am a NYer in Forida and went to a junk yard here in Orlando. Inside I found two ecotecs, great candidates for swaps, both were 04s. I cant remember the name, J&Bs I think, on East Colonial.
Someone should snatch these up.

Did any of them have manual trans, and have a complete engine harness?
i need a motor so if you could let me know which junkyard that was i will call them for prices

i just called, and heres some info, if this helps
04 Sun : motor is out, and so is tranny, possibly no harness
04 Cav : motor is still in the car, most likely the harness is still there...
both have automatic trannies
ea. motor : $300
ea. tranny: $300

Really, I would go in person guys. I was there yesterday at 4:30, no way the two i saw were out by then. Both were in and had intact harnesses. Jump on these, I cant believe an eco is only 300!

I learn this just when I decide that I need to do a swap to show up certain cocky people. Buzz, can you find out exactly what's in the cavy and how much for it all? Unless, of course, 03lssportblue already claimed it, then I'll back off.

Guys I am telling you go in person, lol. There were two cavys with engines not pulled. The ones they told you about on the phone were pulled, the ones I saw were fresh and probably not in the computer yet. Both 04s and really nice condition, with harnesses.

thank you Alexis for the link, but i think that 03lssportblue is only loking for the motor, if you were looking for other parts, i'm sure you two could get the whole car together and split it, maybe even get it cheaper...
