ok so im moving to jacksonville....my brother lives off of 103rd ...i guess thats right...now i know that jacksonville is mainly divided into N.E.W.S. (north, east, west, south)
for people who live in jacksonville...could you break down each side....whats each of the four are like and stuff like that...thanks..
i live in boston, blocks away from fenway park and im looking for something in jacksonville that has a little life. around where my brother lives there doesnt seem to be much going on. i need to know where all like the bars at, clubs...entertainment....easy access to night life...you know what i mean...not necesaraly just for entertianment but somewhere were is not deserted. well traveled and such..thanks!

Hey DJ the southside of town (Baymeadows area ) is ok .. Orange Park would be next on the list.. I live in Middleburg about 20 min from OP..

Are you crazy?!?!? I spent most of my life in Orange Park and would never go back (currently live outside Raleigh, NC). Of course I do believe rent there is pretty cheap. My parents own a house off of Blanding and they charge like $600/month for a 3 BR house. My wife is from the San Marco area...not much to do there. A lot of her friends from high school and college live out at Atlantic Beach. There is a lot to do out there as far as bars and clubs go, but then again, that all depends on where you will be working and how far you want to commute.

I will actually be back in a couple weeks for the weekend. Need to fly in to see my nephew's baptism. It's a great place to visit, don't get me wrong. Just growing up there it didn't make a great impression on me...not a lot to do. We lived there off and on (my dad was in the Navy) and just the last 8 years that I lived there, it didn't leave a great impression on me. I will say that it's growing fast though and you probably do want to get in to the area as soon as possible. I have a lot of memories in that area, just don't think it's somewhere that I wanted to settle in and "start my life". Of course, if I didn't grow up there, I would probably like it.
If you're coming from Boston (I lived up there for about 3.5 years after getting out of college), it's going to be different! People in the area for the most part are VERY nice! (I was shocked at the attitudes of folks in New England). Robert, I do like Middleburg though...granted it has it's stereotypes, but I prefer to be away and have some land. I am sure were you are at it's peaceful and serene.
I live on the southside of town. It's really nice over here.......not too much crime. I would stay away from the northside and what's called "arlington" down here. I've lived in pretty much all areas and I can honestly say that the southside is the best.

ok so today is the day...but now my car wont turn on....the theft system thing kicked in and does not let me turn the car on. 2002 fire. ive tried everything and it only seems to turn on when i reset the pcm!
