Selling 2001 turbo cavalier

Selling 2001 Z24 Cavalier. Only 19,000 miles and even less on the new motor. Was used as a weekend car for a long time and now going to grad school and must sell. Has Bomex body kit with white neon’s underneath. Has the Speed-Craft turbo kit with the intercooler add on. Also Mantapart race motor with after market rods, pistons, 5-angle value job and half shafts removed. Runs with a Tec 3 programmable. Greddy Profec boost controller and turbo timer. Hidden auto meter boost gauge. Other then the intercooler and blow off value total sleeper but it is a cavalier so no one suspects it anyways. Amazing car and extremely fast ran 13’s in the quarter mile, on 5 psi, and will do more with the new motor upgrade. Many more little add ons and I still have auto meter gauges not yet installed and three gauge pillar pod. Will also include the lap top to run the tec 3. Need to sell so I am willing to negotiate price but my starting price is 10,000.

the blue book on the car would be $6030.00 in good condition, $6525.00 in excellent, and $5405.00 in fair. With the mods you have done they do not make the car worth more. I realize you have put work into this car, but for re sale they do not increase it, unless the buyer feels it does. Truly because you have a race motor in there ,might as well consider it fair condition. You would be better off putting the car to stock and selling it and selling the parts. You might find a buyer to buy at your price as a whole, good luck.

Yea I know I cannot ask for more at a dealer but if someone wanted an already fast and modded car that is what I am looking for. I was just rounding the price but thank you.

what kind of info do you have on the car?

does it have any of these:
air conditioning
power windows
power locks
cruise control
alarm
?????

would you be interested in a trade for a stock cavalier and money?
im interested in the car, but i would have to change that body kit, hood and wheels if i got it. and remove the system.

Yes it has air conditioning, power doors and locks...no cruise and the alarm is an aftermarket one (Viper I think but not 100% sure). I do not want another cavalier though man sorry.

is that the kit from hahn race craft? i was looking at their site last night and it looks just like that. but just teh turbo kit was 2,500 then another 1,000 for the innercooler and piping.

then i found a kit for a vortech supercharger, that i thought might be cheaper. it was actually 500 more.

Man......no one has bought it yet.....I would give my left nut to have it.....

ONly for the plain fact that i has 19k miles on it and its turboed......because I would love to have a turbo car....but I don't wanna give up my supercharger

Anybody think I could get 10k for my left nut? hahahaha

O by the way I am willing to trade it. Only for a GSXR or maybe a Ninja. Right now I am working on getting a GSXR 1000 new. So I would be willing to work a deal out with someone who had one. If you want to contact me. Maybe that could help someone who wants the Cavy. Thanks Bobby for the nice comment too.

im not saying that it doesnt have low miles. but alot of people who modify cars pull tricks. like getting a cluster from a wrecked car with much lower miles. i had a friend do that with a bike. his cluster was broken with about 50k miles on it. and he got a used one with 8k miles.

id like to have the car, but i personally am not willing to spend 10k on it. im sure some one is. but if i got it, id end up changing stuff anyway. so id be better off turboing another cavalier for cheaper, but i have a hard enough time briging myself to spend the money on that.

Dude not to be an ass but it does have a different cluster lol. You know though when you pull a cluster in a Cavy the mileage does not change. It does not save the mileage on the cluster.

i didnt know that. never had to change a cluster before. but i didnt think of that they may all be digital. mine is and its a base modle.

Gary,

Did you say that was the last turbo kit that RK sold. Wasn't the turbo kits that RK sold out sourced to speed craft/speed fab. It looks a lot like higgins kit on grim. If it is a speed craft set up is sold be pretty good.

Just trying to help you out,
Chris Winstel
