I'm at work now and tomorrow I'll be with my g/f. Going to junkyard Monday and won't be back til afternoon and have to go back to work on Tuesday through Saturday (sucky schedule, I know). I don't know what your schedule is like Monday but I could help when I get back if you're not working.

^ ^ ^ Hey that works for me. I = teh poor so I don't have no fancy lift (dammit Andy) so it'd take me 2-3 hours to lower the car Geoff. But I know this guy with a lift (dammit Andy) and it probably wouldn't take no time on a Sunday mod meet.
i realy don't mind doing it,but i'm on call AND sundays are the busiest day of the on call week. as soon as we got it on the lift, my phone would go off....just the nature of the beast. and no offense to you geoff but i don't think my dad trusts you enough yet to let you use the shop without me being there. hell, half the time when something comes up messing, who do you thank he blams it on.when in reality it was him that miss place it because he was in the shop drunk.
anywho, i'll do my best to at least stop the meet for a while. and geoff man, learn some freaking patience. the things just came in. lol

Geoff my g/f just got back from family vacation so idk her work schedule this coming week, but if she's working next Sunday than I'm game. Hell if she isn't working maybe I'll just make her help. I should know by the end of tomorrow. Just have to come on over to the wall-less gravel floored garage that I call driveway lol.
While we're at it, does anyone know how to put mesh in good? haha....yea
I can do all this other stuff to the car but not mesh! I know! For one, I don't think mesh should cost the price I usually see it at, two, I never figured out how to get it to stay in the front and rear bumpers, and 3, I wanted to paint them black so they weren't so obvious like other meshed bumpers I see!
Can anyone help me out on that? haha. Any suggestions for a paint that will stay on the mesh, and any recommendations on where to buy it for the low.

But to answer your question, no I haven't ever worked with mesh.
gutter guard works pretty good. just make sure to have some tin snips to cut it with and if your putting in an aftermarket bumper, it should have something to hold a grill in. if i doesn't, be prepared to use some fiberglass. and as far a painting it....the only thing i can think that would work automotive body paint. raddle can won't stick to that material

Well I wont be able to make the pre-meet, but of course I'll see you guys at the meet.
Jamal: Being that your kit is urethane you may have to experiment with mounting the mesh. Oh and I never had too much trouble with rattle can paint sticking to the mesh. As long as you prep it like you would anything else you should be just fine...if not just keep a can in your car to touch it up every once in a while lol.

Nice, thanks for all the replies! I look under the bumper today and it seems to have area that could possibly fit screw in if they're small enough. Maybe that + washers will do the trick? I'll wait to let everyone see it first because they're small spots.

O yea deffinately man! I was going to wait it out until the meet anyway! Most will notice my car is not as great as the pics make it out to be haha. EVERYTHING was installed in the garage. Me and friends have done everything BUT paint, literally.

Hey Jamal as long as you can pull the "work in progress" card you can get away with anything. Hell the previous owner of my car must have parked at walmart and walked home looking at all the parking lot dings.
I'm free next Sunday Geoff so lemme know, if we drop the cav lets do it early to keep from roasting in the sun.
