ok guys repo man came to get the car tonight i took off in it, iam stripin it down tomorow has a 2200 motor and a getrag 5 speed 80k miles on motor body is flawless ecept for a scracth any one who has sein my car can tell u its in good shape, iam sellin it in parts since i dont have a title

its all stock ecept for the exhaust, and hi flow cat, i took very very good care of this car, kept fluids changed on regular basis, and made sure it is in top condition, every thing works on it, even has a factory monsoon audio system wich sounds very good.
iam goin to attempt to put the 95 2.2 motor and tranny in the 00, being how the rpo men will come and get it then turn around and sell it at a auction for liek 500 bucks maybe, might as well get my money back, anyone have any imputs on this?
That's probibly not legal to do, but you should be able to get away with it if the engine and tranny are the same just different milage. and if you do that than the milage is going to be different on the cars and if someone finds out, milage tampering is illegal as well

actualy it will be legal to do, would be the same as me acidently blowin my motor up and havin to replace it so i can drive the car,cant realy say much about replacing say a blown motor, would also be the same as me dropin the motor to have it rebuilt, as for mileage if any car loses a motor it is replaced its not ilegal to do that, so no matter what the mileage wouldnt be acurate, cause of the engine being replaced

95 and 00 motors are TOTALLY different anyways. wont work, well it will, but it would be ALOT of work. Alot more than a 2.2/2200 is worth
so is this why the cavalier's book value decreases so much after you buy it new and then try to sell it used?
