we did a kick ass job on this....thank you for all your support everyone.....i couldnt have done this with out the support of my fellow Jbo family...a Special thank you goes out to jess for doing most of the owrk while i talked to her ..... oh and Rockstar Energy Drinks...without you i wouldnt have stayed up till 3 am the morning before today

That flyer wouldn't make me want to go, as an oustider not knowing what the event is about. We need photos or some other aesthetic item, like color.
i think its dope!!! it has a cool lil picture of floriduh in it...it has all the info that is neeeded......anyone can do better please do!

We'll work on it. The layout is nice, just need some eye candy
If you are gonna add pics of J's and stuff to it.....dont be one sided like last years first draft and add only Tampa cars......be fair it is the WHOLE state of florida.....i say add a pic of one car from each region of the state!!
Also this was mainly supposed to be used for a Print it out on some color paper, pass it out to j people that you see around....other cars... stuff like that...this was in no way supposed to be a Internet Publication

Last years wasnt either. It was handed out. Why don't we vote on the cars to be added on the flyer?

Yes because we arent "allowed" to use JBASH or GMSCB because they are trademarked and Tim Schilling wants money for us to use them..... Also we wanted to include all Gm FWD cars in this show and make it a lil bigger then last years show!! So the Name of the Show was decided to be that....and seeings how we are not trying to lose our asses trying to throw this shindig we didnt feel the need to pay someone for a namesake!

None of that makes sense. We have never used JBASH, but Florida J-Body Meet. I am aware of using the Front Wheel Drive part. I was one of the ones to bring this up a couple years ago. Changing the name of the event is something that should be voted on by all envolved, not something decided by the Orlando Crew. I think if changed it should be GM FWD meet held by or sponsored by the Florida J-Body's, but I am not sure if we are at the point to changing the name yet. We had 3 none J's last year. how many will we have this year? no one knows.
Ok above was before viewing the flyer. now I have seen it. truly layout is not bad. The one thig I see wrong is it says "8 annual Florida J-Body.org cavalier and Sunfire & GM front wheel meet" Well It should say "8 annual Florida J-Body meet & GM front wheel drive meet" The org has nothing to do with this. This event was started before the org existed. Again name changing should be a vote for all.

FU Tuning
this Flyer is just for now Donnie will be doing one as well. THIS IS JUST FOR NOW TO HAND OUT ON THE STREET WHEN YOU SEE A J-BODY! Like i said and will say again Donnie is going to make one up again like last year that will be the main flyer once its done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is just for now...

Love the amount of info needs some pop and it need something to get attention. I'm am a graphic designer and if someone needs this finished them let me know all I need is the content you want, also I have a print shop right here and I think I can get a great price on glossy card stock ,if not free, Also if you need the vinyl stickers done let me know, I can do them let me know.This is me trying to help Orlando and the work load.We also do banners and car graphic etc...
As to everything else that is going on, I did not realise there was this much tension over this, I love the show and for me it is just the right distance to travel and even since I do not race I like the idea that Cavaliers can drag like the rest (I wish I knew more about engines)I think that this show is a great idea and thank everyone for putting it on.

I should apologize for designing a flyer for the car show last year so it looked like a professional carshow flyer. So that maybe just maybe we could actually use them to recruit additional people bring attendtion to the J community, give some of the other local carshows a run for there money...
Dude you really need to chill. Very negative...do you have a problem with everything? Where you even at the show last year to dis anything about it? It's a shame, I expected more from someone that was going to be a part in the orginization of this years show. If you want chat PM me cause I'm not getting into it with you on here...But I'd be glad to chat with you.
And Jess you know I am not slamming your flyer, I think Jess did a nice job on the flyer, it says everything it needs to and reads clear. Very nice...it's a typical carshow flyer. And if you want to stick to that then by all means. If you want a little more design to it then thats where I come in...
We never really had a flyer until 2 years ago, we were on a time crunch and I needed artwork of cars what wer flyer worthy, hence why I pict the 3 from tampa. we just never swapped them out because no one had a problem with it until now. it was Steves call on the photos, and I asked him about them. The plan was that each year the top three awarded cars would be unsed on the following years flyer - unfortunatly as luck would have it it ends up being the same 3 cars from last year -- perhaps I can see the future. Batman did the year before... We worked with what we had...
This year we will have people submit photos at a certain size and resolution to be used in the flyer. The only thing is that we are going to need photos of the cars positioned like they where in last years flyer (another reason why I chose them) they where set up for nice design elements...I'll set something up and post it in here - sound good to everyone?
