My time in the j-body lifestyle has ended, as you can see from this link.

I will continue to be on this site and watch some of the threads and attempt to answer any questions people might have.
All Y'all are great folks, and losing my Cavalier will not make me leave this site.

The plate might be for sale.
im still debating on keeping it and making a shrine. It was the ONLY thing intact on the front bumper.
I always wanted to take that plate, and cut the "Cavalier" logo out.. then cut a slot in the recess behind where the plate sits, and put a neon tube back there.. at night, it'd glow "Cavalier". I know it was before, but I had the idea before I ever saw it

yeah I have the Coolant and Brake resiviour covers, sure ill sell them PM me we'll talk.
I will be making a list of parts I currently have in the garage or otherwise. The wrecking yard it was sitting at was staffed by a bunch of crooks, they were itching to strip what was left of the car. But, I got there and got most of the good parts out. I will make a list and let everyone know. At this point going back to the car would be impossible, they have probably stripped whatever was left, and insurance hasnt looked at it either so I am limited to what can be taken off until they claim it totaled.
Damn, that really sucks. I know how you feel tho. I lost my first Sunfire about 2 years ago. Hope you get back on your feet soon! I'd love to have the engine out of your car!
sorry to here about your lose bro glad ur ok

Damn I can't believe my eyes. I just saw that car a few months back. It was a very clean car. It's good to hear you're ok though. Where did the accident happen and what yard is the car in?
It happened on the Durham Freeway (nc147) right at the Durham Bulls Ballpark. The car was towed to R&M Towing until State Farm goes and looks at it, then I probably won't know where they take it to.
The towing company was a bunch of crooks. They told me I couldnt take anything out of the car, I told them they were full of @!#$ and got my stuff, while taking it out, the worker was talking on the phone to someone about me "taking the subs, and amps, and speakers, and stuff" which he wouldnt have know were back there unless they looked for it.
If state farm does the same there as they do here in Georgia they will move the car to one of their lots to keep from accruing more storage fees until they have time to look at it. Also anyone that works at towing yards are not allowed to remove anything from cars so if anything comes up missing you could get them in trouble.
Yea dude, the storage facility its at should be responsible for anything stolen. You shoulda left all that stuff sit in the car, and when it came up missing, sue the lot its sittin at. The when you get a jipped-ass check from the insurance company ('cause they'll do that.. they did it to me when I wrecked my Cavi), you can attribute that into the lawsuit. And about that guy you overheard talkin about jackin your sh*t, you shoulda walked up to him and been like, "you plan on takin what now?".. then went and let the owner know he's employed a POS thief. Either that or just beat his ass for even plannin on it.. I cant stand a thief.

They had a huge sign going in to the yard that said "Not responsible for "lost" or stolen items"
I want to hug you for your close and very epic call. Alas I can't give you a hug so this is the next best thing.
