Ok, so you guys saw my car at the show. You know what I got, and what I've done to it. And for those of you who dont, go read my profile. It might be up to date. It might not be, I dont remember
So the only thing left to do is sell the thing. Thats right, its goin byes. I'm sick of the J scene. I'm sick of domestics. I want a Honda....... LOL!!!!!!!!! Sorry, I couldnt keep a strait face
I love my car, there's no doubt about it. But I think I'd rather start with one thats untouched. Its still a project, but all the major shizz is done. I want a bone stock '02 LS Sport with a stick, so I'm officially puttin Stacy up for $8k. OBO, of course
The only thing I'm keepin off her is the headlights and corners. I'm basing the price off of what it'd cost me to get an LS Sport with a decent amount of miles, a set of 18" Konigs, and the suspension I want. If you wanna break down the car, its a 1998 Z24. Its got a full ECOtec motor swap, an after-cat exhaust (that I designed, and its awesome), 18" Rota Sub-Zeros, fully-painted interior (I dont have it all installed, but its all there and painted), a Type R steering wheel w/ Momo hub adapter, a Mugen replica shift knob with reverse-safety delete (aka, I took a grinder and ground it down, along with my finger). Oh yea, I'm keeping my seat, only for the fact that Chris Winstel's dad put 3 afternoons into the brackets.. its a respect thing. I still have the back seat and driver seat, so it'll have an almost full interior. In fact, I can throw in a factory radio ::thumbs up:: The paint looks a lil rough, weird for it bein painted just last week, but thats a whole 'nuther story in itself. It can be buffed and whatnot. And I'll have the A/C recharged, along with the windows, locks and mirrors rewired prior to sale. Now for the stipulation. This car will remain for sale until its been tuned with HPTuners. Once thats been done, you wont be able to pry that steering wheel from my cold, dead hands. They'll have to total the car, then kill me to be able to seperate us.
Or you guys can just post back about how I'm dumb for selling it, or how I'm dumb for asking that much for it, etc. I dont really care. I'm not exactly pushing for it to get sold. I just thought I'd use up #13 of whats left of my posts for the month, and if it sells, it was just meant to be. I'm religious like that (bet y'all are surprised to hear that).

For 1, the Honda thing was a joke, obviously.. got ya thinkin tho
And for Kris, this is tricky. The only thing I have is my exhaust. Basically, I took my factory exhaust from my Sunfire, cut the flange off (from the downpipe to the rest of the exhaust) and welded that to 2.5" piping and ran it back to the end. It has a 2.5" thru and thru Dynomax Bullit resonator and a 2.5" thru and thru Tenzo muffler. Its more or less an after-cat exhaust, fully unboltable with hangers and all. I'll sell it for $200.

Evan. I do not understand. 1. You are not going to get 8k for your car. Sorry. Then you are going to pay at least 8k for a newer one, so car payment etc.... Isn't your car paid for?

Yes John, it is paid for. You gotta remember, it was a '98 Z24 w/ 140k miles originally, so it was cheaper than anything I was finding down here (I got it in Cherry Hill, NJ for $2500). And at the time, I had a mint condition VW Golf Mk2 w/ 71k miles on it.. old VWs hold their value
Now, I have found '02 LS Sports goin for anywhere from $4500-$7k. Jake's right.. I just gotta look and be patient. But in all honesty, you're right. I more than likely wont get $8k for it. I'll come down to $7500, but thats all. I wont get that either. My idea was that someone might want it bad enough to gimme that much, then I can go get what I really want. I already doubt it tho. And if I can get you to tune it with HP whenever you get it, the car will be stuck with me til death do us part. It was just an idea I thought I'd kick around out there and see what I can get.
BTW, 4 more posts left after this one. I'm goin premium when I get my next paycheck.
