I was planning on going tommorow(Saturday), but a few thing have crept up on me, such as a growling wheel bearing, a leaky fuel injector and grabby brakes. We'll they do say bad things come in threes!

Hope everyone who went had a sucessful day. Like to see a few times.

Got the leaking injector replaced and the wheel baering done. Also fixed the neighbors truck and a family friend's mini van. All after a couple of hours of Karate. Yeah, I'm dirty, sweaty and exhausted, but I like the feeling getting something done, for myself and a few others.

Track sucked today. I think this was the worse it has ever been for me. I got one run and was there from open to close (could have gotten a second run, but was not worth it). Many oil downs and they got to the point of only running 1 lane for the rest of the day. My one run was a 15.7. I really did not try.

yea, they keep jackin the price of running your car while droppin the price to watch.. this is gonna end up deterring people back to the streets... but anyway, yea, my best was a 16.2.. hoppin out the hole like a kangaroo on crack.. stock wheels and tires and some more practice runs next time I'm not gonna add anymore mods to this car until I break into the 15s.. I know I can do it..

yea you can see the wheel hop or at least hear it somewhat.......you def need some traction for sure but not adding mods till you hit the 15s is weaksauce lol

mods always make the world better lol

yea, but I need to make full use of what I already got.. running the same exactly thing I did in Bithlo when I had issues with the car then, to now after I put some decent mods on it tells me I need to step up my own game.. not the car's.. I still havent watched the vid..

They did not drop the price to watch. It has always been $5, they just keep raising the price to race.

When I went the last couple of years it was $20 to run and $5 to watch. The price to run hasn't gone up has it?

As for the tire hop, with that few runs you probably didn't get a chance to adjust the tire pressures. (this would be more of a traction issue than a wheel hop issue.) If you don't have them (or have them installed yet, like me) can reduce the wheel hop problem. Adjusting your toe in to zero will reduce wheel hop also. What hapens when you have toe in, the tires want to pull to the center slightlytill the control arm bushing pressure overcomes the tires grip and the tires will literally jump back into position. Once it starts it becomes worse till you regain traction. With zero toe in, the tires just pull straight, reducing the possibility of wheel hop.

Before you go to the track again come by and we can set your toe to zero. That should help reduce the possibility of wheel hop.

Jack they have went up to $25 to run. This could of been one fo the last times I go to gainesville. I'm going to try and go to Valdosta in the near future. Evan just had a alignment after the suspension was installed so it should be pretty close. Evan did not adjust his tire pressure at all. He was at whatever it was at when he got to the track. I told him this was not a good thing. I also told him before his second run if he had wheel hop to let off. This is what breaks axles and diffs.

thats what I did for the second run.. when it started to hop, I let out of it, then slowly eased back in.. as for what track, I'll probably still go there.. closest one for me
