I have a feeling it's not driveable. If you can get it up here to Ocala Sunday afternoon, we can knock it out in a couple of hours. (Then again, I've got to do some cleaning before the Florida meet. ) I've got everything here, but the gaskets and head bolt set.

Michael, here's a good read the performance forum, if you haven't read it yet. If you decide to go that route, let me know, I'll help you get the parts for your model.

The Following prices are the median prices from around the nation published in Engine Builder Magazine, May 2006 issue:

Clean Disassemble/Estimate Valve Job : $38.73
Clean And Pressure Test Cylinder Head : $46.22
Clean And Dye-Penetrant Inspect Head : $38.43
Basic Valve Job : $90.29
Performance 3-Angle Valve Job : $116.64
Install 1 Valve Guide : $14.04
Install 8 Valve Guides : $58.88
Machine And Install 1 Valve Seat : $21.16
Machine And Install 8 Seats : $90.98
Clean And Surface Cylinder Head : $48.69
Machine Head Deck Surface On Clean Head : $38.61

Prices will vary depending upon your local area.

You will notice alot of "Clean and..." , you wont have to clean before each procedure, just before the pressure test, when you do your own disassembly. You should also note aside from the first item, they all require certain equipment, you usually only find in a machine shop.
