those AEMs act like a straw when you hit a nasty puddle or just drive it in the rain long enough to saturate the filter and suck that ish up.... thats why when its raining, you see me on the side of the road or where ever I may be unbolting the coupler from the hard pipe and the plastic tube... aint no straws here, son...
BTW, all you 'tards arguin about whats a better motor.. the LD9 or the ECO... they both run about the same on the track, so its not a matter of whats a faster motor... its all about which one is built better; an all aluminum engine (ECO) is better weight-wise, but is more succeptable to death from overheating... but the ECO is better for boosting
my decision for the swap came from my LD9 having 156k miles on it, versus the ECO car I had with only 31k.. YOU guys do the math

lol... ive had my troubles with the eco.... 3 hydrolic rockers taking a crapola and jamming the cam up....not a fun thing to do.....threw he timing off and pissed me off real good....
Small update:
called my insurance company and explained the problem so they sent out a adjuster to look at it and wrote a claim out and as long as all goes well i will be getting a check sometime the beginning of next week to help fix the cavy.
started aquiring some of the new parts i need and once i get the check i will be able the majority of the rest.....

Update: parts for the most part have been ordered..... im waiting on 2 more quotes and will have everything i need to hopefully get this motor done. Rental goes back on saturday so i will hopefully will be borrowing my rents car for a few days while i wait for the machine work and rebuild process
