Import Face Off is going to be at Gainesville Raceway on 1/25/2009. I want to try and go to this show, but not sure if I will be able to make it yet. Here is a link

They have a Best Domestic Sport Compact class, Best Domestic Class, Best Domestic Truck Class, also Club Participation, and Club Representation.
$25 to show, $13 (with flyer) just to look. They have discounts for clubs (you have to contact them).
There is also racing.$20 for Test and Tune, $30 for Competition racing.
Anyone want to go?? I know it is a stupid question this is Florida and no one goes to car shows in Fl.

well from what I see there needs to be at least 3 cars to make a class ......
What is the chance of 3 cars from here showing up ??? at a import show that there will be very little domestics if any at all........really it's 25.00 $ to show ..and 15.00 just to walk around.....
it will be like the Super Chevy Show was,, (All old classic V8's and 2 cavy's)........ this show will be all imports and 1 or 2 cavys ..
SO WHATS THE POINT OF GOING ?????? I see no need to go and look at a bunch of imports

Well as I said earlier I'm tired of seeing V8's. That is all that is in Jax. I would like to see some Imports. Our cars fit better in the Import crowd than the v8 crowd. That is my opinion, and I agree with you that it will be 1 or 2 J's at the show. No J;s in Fl seem to go to shows to show there cars.

WOW !!!!!!!!! It's been that long ?? seems like last week .................... think of it like it is what he would like to do if he was still here with us .. so a day at the show could be a good time to get together as a group....

I see if we can get a group of cars going (Min 5 ) we will get a club discount if we send in the paper work .
Is anybody going to this ?????? If we can get 40/45 cars at the Fla Jshow ,I dont see why we cant get some peeps to go to this show.... come on up and show peeps........

I hope to have some other things done to the car before this show , I just wish i had the time and money to do(before this show) what i have planned for this yr before the J-show ...
