Hey, Gary Keep in mind that your sunfire is an automatic. Your not really using all the power that 2.4l engine has. Customizing a J aint hard work, you just need time money and know what you want that will look good. Oh one more thing. i hate to say it but your car is no where near 170 HP. With an automatic transmition your looking at 140 hp give or take.
Anyways i'll shut up now lol
i know it the sunfire is gone as of next week trading it for a 93 civic coupe with d16y8 with minor bolt on mods.
i found a b18a1 non vtec for 450 with a 5spd tranny.
What a way to downgrade.

d16s are crap unless you're going to build the bottom end and boost the crap out of it. Otherwise you should be saving for a B16 or K20
