I would be acquiring a new vehicle soon and the dealer is offering me $2500 for the cavi
2003 Cavalier LS Sport sedan, White, aprox 79,500 miles, AT, lowered on KYB AGX adjustables and Eibach Prokit. K&N typhoon intake, Pioneer HU, 2X10" woofers.
the cars has a clean title and clean Autocheck / Carfax. but since its lowered blah blah blah they are offering me $2500.
Now the questions is this, How much more do you think the car can be sold EASILY and fast on the street market.
(The only thing the car might need is a new starter and the front passenger window motor might need replacement, other than that the car is running great), new fuel pump was installed 2 weeks ago.
I don't follow the Blue book since nowadays the market has change so much and it is a discontinued vehicle, but I would like to see what the South East region has to say about current cavalier prices.
And if you are interested let me know, I want to sell this car ASAP, otherwise trade in.
Any additional info or pictures you might like PM me.
Thanks for any input in advance

The most I would say you could sell for would be 4-5k...
take the small amount of mods that you do have and sell them for a couple hundred bucks
As for being a discontinued car. LOL its a cavalier not a 1960 Corvette
$2500 sounds right for trade in value as they will list it on their lot for 6-7k more then likely..
Good luck
don't know at what point you are in your purchasing but..
do all the paperwork including their offer for your cavalier.
come back last week of the month and get serious with them about financing, rates etc.
last or next to last day of the month tell them that you are willing to sign papers but you've been given more $ for your cavalier at a different place where you also found a similar car (one you're looking to buy). the sales guy will go to the manager and will most likely get you anywhere from $500-1500 more for your car.
i worked a loaded 2008 civic si down from $21,000 to 18,000. at first they gave me $2,000 for my car and then it was $4,500 lol
key is to go at the end of the month and have them do all they can to meet that monthly quota.
I'd say you could get $4-$5k if you sat on it for a bit.. $3500 should come pretty quickly
personally, if it was a 5-speed, I'd give you $4k or in that ballpark.. it looks really clean and I like the LSS 4drs anyway
