Anyone have a right fender and front bumper lying around preferably in my Orange? i need them in mint to damn near condition ... i might already have a hook-up for the fender, but i still have to talk to Batman about that - but i figured i'd hop on here and see if any of you guy had ish lying around.

long story short, the back of my wifes Toyo Matrix had a run in with the front of the fire. does not look as bad now, mostly popped out, but i do not think i'll ever get the front of the fender straight or be able ot repair the mounting portion of the bumper where it meets the fender. we popped it out with a 2x4 cause the fender was touching the tire - and i buffed and touched up as best i could just so it didn;t stick out so much ... side note, i'm not going through insurance for obvious reasons and i'm ballin on a budget since my wife just recently joined the ranks of the unemployed in florida. needless to say life hasn't been dull...

after sanding and buffing the sunfire off of it...



she was only backing out of the garage - and these are the marks that were where my tires were. i questioned how fast she was actually going in reverse. it was a pretty hard hit to leave those marks...

you buffed and popped that crap out amazingly!

check ebay for oem used, thats how i fixed my bumper and fender, and I got my fender from a junk yard for $75

next time im at the junkyard i'll look for ya donnie. i need to find myself some headlights too

donnie their is a fire on obt looks exactly like urs.. like a twin you could say cheap too im sure if u wanted a spair fire that looks the same lol. Same kit color and even auto i think too lol

are the sunfire fenders interchangable through the years?

yes as far as i know but i mean i have issues with fitment with some things when i had my fire, so thats why when i got stuff i made sure it was 03+

Yeah the Sunfire fenders are the same from 95-05.

ill look this weekend. the yard by my house is pretty cheap.

Haven't seen many fires in the yards either, heck dont think ive ever seen orange in the yards, ill keep my eyes and ears out for ya tho!

Thanks guys for all the help and checking the yard in your areas - much appreciated. i'm going to try and check locally this weekend. but i am going to yank the front end apart this weekend to se if the ish is fixable or not, i know the top of the bumper where it meets the fender is torn and the mounting location at the fender is shot, but we shall se. also going to see if i can get anymore or the fender worked out, very doubtful on that though - i just want to see if it would be better to fix or replace seeing that paint will be a factor either way - i have to get it back to as close to 100% as it was before or it's gonna kill me ... she couldn't have just hit me in the rea that was already saggin, but no!

but thats again - i'll keep you posted and if you can let me now if you guys fidn anything in your ventures around.

sucks to hear, man.. good luck, I say. I'd check here but the only '03+ Sunfire was raped in the face when someone tried pulling the radiator. apparently in Ocala, its customary to crush the front fenders and rip the bumper damn near in 2 to accomplish this removal

I stopped in and took some pic's of the car, has 95,xxx miles, he wants 6900 for it but if its cash he said 5900






Bit pricey if you ask me. Trunk had dents in it and the hood did too.. Also driver side front bumper was scuffed up. The rear-view mirror not attached needs to be re-glued on.
