i need to find a welding/ exhaust shop in central florida that is capable of welding a bung into a titanium exhaust. i need this done asap. thanks in advance for your replies
titanium exhaust ?? really ?? any pics ?? who did the welding to build it or is it all clamped together??
I've done a bit of Ti welding. How far are you from Gainesville?

In Orlando/Kissimmee you can try Road Runner
5 seconds to find another street...
Road runner is open and there not that great at all everybody just says they are did my first exhaust lasted 6 months before a weld cracked.
To original poster try Gato racing on michigan ave in kissimmee behind the ateam building.Pretty sure he can i was there a few days ago was turboing a Busa.
I would do Road Runner, tell me if you go you need to speak to the owner I will go with and get you the hook up. Gato is also amazing.
im just now reciving the parts that i need to finish this install up, i hoping to contact gato today and see what kind of warrenty they have. i can not afford and defects on this head pipe it took me 3 months and $1700.00 to get it .

lol no its not from japan and it was not overnighted, not all greatness comes out of japan this is a one off hand built header from slovenia, i will have pics of it this weekend.

what kind of price can you do on welding a bung in the header. i live in central florida about 3 hours away from gainsville. depending on how long it would take to weld up i could make a trip up or just ship it to you.

I'd say about $50 to bore the hole and weld the buing in. You have said bung?

OEM Does no welding he sends everything out maybe find out who does it for him. Did you go to gato? Instead of calling i never call and i hear he turns people down over phone.

i tried to call gato and they answered the phone in spanish (strike 1) WELCOME TO AMERICA SPEAK ENGLISH OR GET THE F*CK OUT. then told me to hold on and just set the phone on the counter as he screamed at another customer at the desk (strike 2) so i hung up. then he called back saying he was not interested in working on titanium and was upset because i dont speak english ( strike 3) and if they turn down over the phone business then they really have their head up their ass
looks like im going to deal with hahn they offered a fair price and i know quality is behind their name.

Gato does some amazing work but its more of who you know when it comes to him ive seen alot of work come out his shop and its amazing but you gotta know the right ppl.......glad your going to get this done
