I am looking at a 94 cavalier that my friend has it has a 2.2 in it. had the head and water pump replaced about a year and a half ago. the car has been sitting for a year now. it will not start, but you can hear the starter engage. does anybody know wut could be causing this???

So it clicks, but won't turn over? First thing, try jumping it, there may not be enough juice to start it, but enough to energize the solenoid if its been sitting for a year. If that doesn't work, try turnng it over by hand at the crank pulley (18mm). You may need to pull the plugs out to do it. If it turns over, the starter is bad. If it doesn't turn over, its siezed somewhere.
