Do the 2.2 MPFI heads have larger valves than a 2.2 TBI head? I've read somewhere that they do, but several people have said they didnt.
Also, to anyone that has ported one of these heads.... Did you leave the *vanes* in the exhaust runner?

I'm pretty sure the valves are the same size ,only difference is some had a bigger valve stem.
Yeah they are exactly the same. they might have longer stems i havent pulled them out yet but they are the same size on the bottoms and tops

you get more cfm if you just polish up the vanes in the exhaust
