I'm going to be doing an engine swap on my 93 Cavalier, going from 2.2 to a V6. I already have the V6 harness and ecm. Ive found two motors I might be able to get. The first one is a 92 3.1 out of a Lumina Sedan. Has about 80,000 miles on the engine. Needs the ignition module. Asking $400 for entire car without a title. The other is a 3100 out of a 96 Olds Cutlass Supreme with a bad tranny. I can pick up the entire car for $200. It has approximately 146,000 miles on it though. I'm kind of leaning toward the 3.1 cause of the lower miles and it would probably be easier to swap in, not having to deal with the mount and all. Any suggestions or ideas on which would be better? Thanks.

im in the same boat
an i think that im gona do the 3.1/3100 hybrid
so that is what i would sudjest if your gona do all that work then you might as well build a performance motor
but if you do the hybrid make shure you get the 3100 or 3400 off of a (i think this is the right year someone corect me if im wrong) 2000 and up motor they flow the best.
or you can do what arch is doing and put a turbo v-6 in your car
3100...more power.
