Hi guys.
I have been making and selling Sub Frame Braces for the 3 gens for a little while now.
My question to you is, would any one be interested in a Sub Frame Brace for the 2nd gen Js?
I am only asking because I have had an email or two asking about this, and I would like some input as to if I should offer this for your cars.
If you want to see any pics, of what I have done already just look in the Suspension & Brake forum. Thank you for reading. If you have any questions, Email me at Ken52307@yahoo.com
Dude the lower subframe braces for the Second Gens are 11 bucks from the dealer. If you can beat that price then go ahead and make them.

Yeah. V6 2nd gens came with a lower subframe brace.
How about making a rear tiebar?

Don't feel bad. I've been driving my second gen for 14 years and I didn't know that. Just finished stealing all the sway bars from a nice Z24 at the yard too! Don't know how I missed the brace!
Not all Z24s came with it.. but i know for sure all V6's in 94 did. I'm not sure what years had it and what didnt.
I have a 94 RS with the v6 and it came with the brace and strut tower brace.

Cool - at least I know that I'm not going blind. If GM's selling 'em for $11, I'll just pick up a new one!
You can put me down for a rear tie bar too.
I'd also be interested in a rear tie bar.
I'd be interested in a rear tie-bar too, I've seen your work in person, very nice.....I'd even be interested in a sub frame brace if it works better than stock.... can i use more than One? hmmm...
Everything LOUDER than everything else!!
you actualy use two, one per frame rail, what it does is link the from and rear sub frames together to make a more rigid chassis, installation is fairly easy and its best to weld the im in personal opinion ( some people think it doesnt make a diff). sorry if this sounds dumb, but by tie bar are we talking about a panard bar? personaly never heard of a tie bar myself
wow.. some of this stuff is making me think. Different strut tower brace would be awesome. the stock one is kinda sinfull.

I'm assuming you're talking about a shock tower brace here? If thats the case, and you can beat $20 (since I know it can be done for that much), go for it.
yea, its got to be the shock tower.. thats the only brace i know.
