Whats to low?

i know eibachs offer about .5 to .8 inch drop, intrax about 2, and canucks around 1.5. but whats to low before the camber starts to get too bad? also, does anyone have/heard about the performance of Canucks springs? they are pretty cheap compared to other brands

there's no such thing as too low....

if its laying rockers... its perfect

idk. about the camber though. i think the eibach kit is the best, but intrax sets you down to an awesome stance.

eibachs best... they offer a rated inch drop actually but also offers incredible handling. too low is over two inches... that's when you'll need to look into camber kits n such... extreme is three inches which might as well be lying on the ground give or take upon the kitted or stock body

but all in all it's about how low you want to go and how careful you are on public roads. there is no such thing as too low on the strip.

as for camber issues, there are none on j bodies. the strut and knuckle have enough adjustmanet in them that you dont require a camber kit, and the camber change between fully compressed and extended is minimal on a mcpherson strut setup.

i have sprint springs in my car, 1.8" settled to 2". my car has a factory 87 valance on it and it sits 3 3/4" off the ground, and i have no trouble with it.

Too low is when you can't even go over a speedbump sideways.

I just put eibachs on my car.. and while they advertise 1 inch drop, mine dropped more like 2.5", i can get two fingers between the front tire and fender. I just had it aligned.. no issues with camber.

im almost tucking 14's rite now. and i do mean the rim, not tire. bumpers will be 1-3/4" from the ground when i get them on the car. you can never be too low!!!! once i shave out the inner fender wells, i can even drive it that low as long as i am not taking to big of a turn.

used to have the intrax, they were pretty good, handled very well.

about the camber things, i do remember seeing camber kits, i do beleive they might have just been modified bolts. back to the topic, ive heard that lower than 2" the axles would have issues, i know normal driving probably wouldnt cause an issue but we drive pretty aggressively up here

OR, the only time you start to experience slight camber issues is around the 4-5 inch mark.... aka air or juice...

my Sunbird ran eibachs... it was the best purchase I ever made;
moreso, I was able to run my original shocks for one year before
they needed to be replaced.

The bird is sold, but I still have a photo of it in my profile.
