Has anyone put 3rd gen side mirrors on a 2nd gen? Or at the very least, does anyone know if they will bolt on easy or may need to be customized?
3rd gen mirrors suck they are breakaway and break to easy IMO. Just what I've gathered having both 2nd and 3rd gens...

On v6z24 they use s-10 mirrors. I do not want carbon fiber or blinker mirrors. I would like to use a 3rd gen set of power windows that I can get for a real good price. I just need to know if they will fit between generations or not.
There is a guy on V6Z24 called burntricer that put aftermarket 3rd gen mirrors on. I don't know what he had to do to make it fit, but they're on there.
You can make any mirror you want fit on your car, all it takes is some modification to the sail panel. I know the 3rd gen mirrors are not a direct bolt on though.
