Are first gen cavs fast when all done, Im thinking of buying one for 800$ its a v6 1990 cav z24 wondering how fast it will be when i rebuild it and turbo it and have it completely built , how fast are most people and what 1/4 and 0 to 60 times are they at?
That would be the last year of the 2nd Gen Phase 1
anyhow..no 1st gens are slow somewhat like ours

Slow? 1st and 2nd gens are basically identical except for the body shape, Very easy to swap a 3400 into and then you'll have a 14 second car, turbo the 3400 and you'll be in the low 13s/12s. There are more guys doing it now than i can even remember. Check out v6z24.com

not all first gens had tbi. they were the starts of the mpfi turbo motor, the mpfi v6. first gens had a lot of powerplants in em, a lot more than 2nd gens
