I cant remember what the topic was but I remember a female with I think a 1 gen doing a really nice headlight swap... I have my headlights pulled out and sold so I want to go ahead and find what it is I need and do the swap. If someone can give me a quick link or some info on the brand of headlights or the abilitly to contact that person who did the swap previously. Thanks RJ

the swap has been done many times. I know that both the Nissan Silvia S13 lamps and BMW e3 series lamps will swap nicely. I haven't done the swap yet myself but there are plenty how-to's when you search.

it not to hartd guys...i did my accord headlight swap without anypics...just get creative and dont be afraid to cut @!#$ up theres always junkyard parts lol

i know what you mean Mike, i was the 1st to do the silvia swap, just keep cutting and measuring, its not too hard.

has for phase 2 pics, i know i emailed the guy about where the pics are, nothing more i can do.

actualy I'm not even worried bout the swap process I can weld the biatchs in for all I care I really wanted to know where they was purchased and the part number and if she used the stock headlight brackets from a cavaler or used the silvia brackets? I want a brand new set fresh not a junkyard set...

you can use the stock brackets and cut the backs out of them to fit the lamp better inside or you can fab up some of your own just out of cheapo materials from your local hardware store. i'm not sure about the actual "part number" she used but usually it's due to year models. and as she said, ebay is the best place to find what ye be yurnin fer.

Now as a side note... ive since molded the headlights... this was due to a car accident that messed up the bolting tabs on the passenger side headlight.... the brackets themself i made worked fine until the accident...

Silvia is the much better JDM version of the 240SX......Man I'de love to have a SR20DET in my Sunbird but thats a pipe dream.

Those BMW lights on Ebay are like $150. Looks like a last mod for me... I'd rather get a $700 Vader kit before I buy $150 headlights, jeez.

I got news for you man, buying stock lights brand new are roughly $60 per lamp which ends up being around $120. that's not bad for a pair of BMW's that are probably projector and halo lamps. just letting you know.
