Well my sunbird is done again. It threw a rod. I had done alot of work to it before.I had it bored 40 over, port, polish and shaved I had the crack balanced and polished and new everything from main bearings, rod bearings, gaskets and seals. It only had 2100 miles on it and it threw a rod. what should I do next. does anything from a 2.2 fit our block?
So what should I do next.I cant do the DHO swap but give me some ideas. BTW Ive got a T3 garrett turbo for sale $200.00. If interested in the turbo email me at acbigshow@hotmail.com

Did you do anything to the rods before the o'haul? Checked for size? Reconditioned? Did you clean all the oil holes in the block, crank, and head before reassembly? You may not want to give up on the 2.0 just yet.

I still think the eco swap into a 2nd gen, + turbo, would be killer.

a friend of mine has a 89 cavalier and i have had the starter out and tested and it kicks in and everything , but when it is on the car nothing happens when you turn the key , i have ran a wire directly to the solenoid and still nothing , i was told the car died and when she went to restart she had nothing at all not even a click from the starter , i need to know if this is a battery cable problem ???
